Fresh Tunisian Fruit
from the Oases to the Orchards of Cap Bon

From the Saharan oases to the orchards of Cap Bon, three exceptional Tunisian terroirs come together in a single export range.

TLG Agro, a subsidiary of TLG GROUP, selects and exports three iconic families of fresh Tunisian fruit: citrus fruits from Cap Bon, Deglet Nour dates from the southern oases, and pomegranates from Gabès and Testour.

Thanks to the natural spread of their harvest seasons, our range offers near-continuous export availability from September to March.

Citrus Fruits

Maltaise, Sakasli, Thomson, and Clementine - including Maltaise, the “Queen of Oranges,” exclusively grown in Tunisia.

Maltaise Orange

Known as the “Queen of Oranges,” Maltaise is grown exclusively in Tunisia, in the Cap Bon region. Its tender, exceptionally juicy flesh, virtually seedless, and its aromatic, easy-to-peel skin make it one of the most sought-after oranges in the world.

Sakasli Orange

A traditional variety from the Tunisian blood orange family, closely related to Maltaise. Its fine, juicy flesh and good resistance to transport and storage make it an excellent early-season blood orange.

Thomson Orange

A seedless Navel orange with firm, juicy flesh and a subtly tangy flavour. A leading choice for fresh consumption and the fresh fruit market at the start of the season.

Clementine

Easy to peel and available in export-preferred sizes, Tunisian Clementines meet strong demand in fresh fruit markets towards the end of the year.

Dates

Deglet Nour, the “Queen of Dates,” available on the branch, in bulk, or packaged according to your purchasing channel.

Dates on the Branch

Presented on their natural stalk, just as harvested from the palm. A visually striking format, highly sought after by gourmet retailers and for festive occasions.

Bulk Dates

Separated from the branch and packed in multi-kilogram cartons, ideal for food processors and repackers.

Packaged Dates

Graded and neatly arranged in trays, ready for retail display. Available in various retail formats, with private-label customization options.

Pomegranates

Fresh whole pomegranates, cultivated in Tunisia since Phoenician times and harvested at full maturity in the southern oases and northwestern regions.

Gabès

A coastal oasis in southern Tunisia and a historic home of pomegranate cultivation in the country. The fruits ripen beneath the palm groves in a terroir associated with the “Grenade de Gabès” geographical indication.

Testour

A region in northwestern Tunisia and the country’s second major pomegranate-producing area, currently experiencing rapid growth. Its later harvest naturally extends the export season.
